I'm not going because my husband doesn't like people... hee hee... really. And well - because trying to get him to go along to meet and then spend uninterrupted time with weird people from the internet is a hard argument to make.

We are going camping next week though. (without all you weirdos) ;)

I am thinking about bringing my very large iron skillet. It is a very useful piece of cookware. I also will probably be bringing a good knife.

So, how are we doing on lunch stuff? Steve/Keith - have you contributed to the food? I'm also not paying attention to alcohol. You guys are on your own on that front. I, however, will be bringing a case of fuzzy water.

Friday night????

Oh, do I need to contribute any bacon? I see there is lots of Not Bacon and that cannot be right.

JWBear 04-08-2009 11:49 AM

There's always room for more bacon!

Well, between Snowflake's ginormous schlong of salami and our other sandwich supplies, I think we've got all three days of lunch covered. We're bringing 4 loaves of different breads, assorted meats, cheeses, condiments, and veggies, plus an assortment of chips and crackers. We're also supplying some baggies, so that people can pack their lunches for hikes/outings if needed. :)

One thing that wasn't covered on the spreadsheet is evening snacks for during boardgames, etc. So, if anyone still needs to contribute to food, maybe that's an idea - popcorn, veggie sticks, candy, etc.

NA - we're bringing our large cooler to transport all of the sandwich stuff, so, once we transfer it to the fridge, it will be available to stow drinks and ice. So, if you want to save packing room, you probably won't need yours. I believe K&S are also bringing theirs as well. Between those and the two fridges, we should be ok. What do you think? :)

We're also bringing our pillows and towels, and our small electric space heater.

Oh, and we'll bring quite a few boardgames, plus our WiiMotes with a Disney trivia game for the Wii. If there are any boardgame requests, please post, because we probably own them and we'll bring 'em. (We have 3 bookcases and one large cabinet full of games.) So far, we're definitely bringing: Risk, Things, Monopoly, POTC Life, and Scattergories, Guillotine, and Chez Geek.

innerSpaceman 04-08-2009 12:17 PM

I dunno. Twister and dildos could be dangerous.

JWBear 04-08-2009 12:18 PM

I'll bring a couple decks of cards. Anyone else know how to play Oh Hell?

We're going camping in two days. I hope I can find some weirdos.

As for your husband, well, I don't much like people either. But that never stopped me from enjoying this group.
