I confess I have no affection for Goonies. It was a stupid, awful film then ... and its current status as a fondly-recalled icon does nothing to disabuse me of that correct assessment.

Providing counter-evidence, I never saw it until I was an adult so I have no nostalgic attachment to it and I thoroughly enjoy it.

I confess I have not be able to nail down one simple confession that isnt either a total downer, horribly inappropriate or dull as a handful of wet dog hair...

I find it hard to watch all the way through now but still very much enjoy a few scenes in it.

I know this isn't the movie thread but it always bothered me that the Fratellis were going to make the Goonies walk the plank at the end. I mean, big deal because they all jump into the water anyway. I know about the giant octopus cut from the film but still... The Goonies came out when I was at an age when I thought Spielberg could do no wrong. It has sentimental value, I guess. But like E.T. and some of his other films I have no real desire to see them again and again any more.

Spill! :p

I confess I am a crazy bunny lady. We live in a varying mess of hay, fur, and unmentionables. Anything with a rabbit motif catches my eye. I squeal constantly over our own bunnies as if I've never seen them before.

I <3 bunnies.

I remember my grandfather telling me that rabbit poop is good fertilizer for plants. fyi
