Wishing I had Illustrator, though I may be allowed to play with it at work again pretty soon.

I'm thinking of trying working at the Library near my house. Even if I don't get paid or have to volunteer, I would love to work there. Plus, it's quiet so I can hear a lot better and spent a lot of time at the place. Might go there this week and ask about it.

So, the kitty crazy train is rolling through our home right now. And, poor Mufasa has taken refuge inside the recliner. We'll coax him out after dinner.

Anyway, the boy is well. After his examination, it was determined that he's actually 4 years old, and was previously neutered (I didn't really personally look before) according to his impound chart. So, he was a pet to someone fairly careless or something.

On the way home, I took him in his carrier to Petco to get a collar. I also bought a small harness and leash, and he let me put it on him in the car. So, anchored to the seatbelt, he got to ride with a little bit of freedom the rest of the way home. :) I plan on working on him with the harness over the next few weeks to see if he'll take to it, so he can join me on some walks.

Maleficent and Magick are totally cool with him, albeit cautious and curious. Emmy, on the other hand, makes a REALLY bad ambassador. Hence, why he's inside the recliner.

Pics will be forthcoming once everyone is settled and chilled. :)

I think he loves it here. :) He's now exploring, eating, and drinking. He also took some treats from me, and just spent some time in the window sill, purring. :D

Then again, we closed the others in the bedroom for a little while, at least so he can get his bearings.

Last night our cat Lillian passed away.

Even those of you who have been to our home several times might not have met Lily, but if you did you met one of the sweetest, gentlest souls you will ever find.

She is survived by her sister Dorothy, and two grieving parents.

I'm so sorry for your loss, H & T. It sucks to lose a pet. Big hugs from Heather and me.
