So- we bought a water softener/filter for the house. Not a cheap purchase but we were sold on the demonstration. Filter was installed last Thursday- results since then?

-water tastes horrible- like it's been sitting out getting stale.
-the upstairs shower no longer works- no water pressure or worse.

The manual is un-clear- especially on the time schedule for maintenance we have to perform. The rep gave us gifts- "gifts" that have NO info on how to use them at all. Just flyers about the gifts.

Message has been left- so far message has not been returned. We are not happy- and Saturday at midnight was the deadline to cancel the transaction.

AUGH!

Just thinking of a pop tart gives me a headache!
I need an emergency donut back up plan!
Of course, my favored glazed old fashioned has far more sugar than any pop tart. :) Wish I had one right now

P.S. There are no real bagels on the West Coast.

:D

You mean the goji berry, organic, green tea bagel is not authentic?

LSPoorEeyorick 11-20-2006 11:53 AM

Not true; have you tried La Brea Bagels?

Ghoulish Delight 11-20-2006 11:55 AM

Or Western Bagels?

Yes and yes.

Well, I lived on the east coast and let me tell you, no bagels in VA. They were springy and bread like and not chewy NY bagel goodness. But, I've had some very good bagels in SF. The Bagelry is very close, though
