I'm so sorry to hear about Lily, H&T. It has indeed been a tough year for LoT pets.

**hugs**

Soo... we had lutefisk on Saturday. Hubby for the first time ever, me for the first time since I was 12.

Not bad. My friend commented about "fish jello and turpentine" (aquavit). Yeah, well. I ate it. I kind of liked it. Might try doing it at home, and cooking it a bit longer.

Was the one on Comedy Central tosh.0? If so that's not an official spinoff but I've actually liked it more than any of the others (with The Soup still miles ahead).

Cool. I had no idea The Soup had spinoffs. I still pledge my allegiance to Joel McHale. (And understand that I'm not really ticked, it's just a lighthearted observation peppered with fake outrage that preaches my undying love for the host of The Soup.)
I watched tosh.0 last night because the YouTube redemption segment. I thought that was a really interesting idea. You never hear what happens to a lot of these people. I've been curious. I think that is a good idea to follow up with them, get their reactions about their 'fame' and even get a chance to redeem themselves by doing the action that they f'ed up again successfully this time.

We've been getting some really good press on the store. The Long Beach Press Telegram ran an article today that was great and included a nice photo gallery that even has a decent picture of moi.

Here's the article.

And the photo gallery.

So Lisa, when does "Buster" move in to Casa de Cone/Meinke?

Congratulations!

I wonder if ThinKrisps could be marketed as one-time-use-only dog frisbees?

Hmmm. Is cheese bad for dogs? If not, you could always come up with a smaller variety just for pets. ;)

From Pet Food Report:

Question
I have heard cheese is bad for dogs and cats, is this true?

Answer
Cheese is a nutritious ingredient for pets, as it is for people and is used in a variety of pet foods and treats. Cheese provides excellent quality protein, calcium, Vitamin A, and essential fatty acids. B-complex vitamins are contained in some cheeses. Pets also like the taste of cheese and it can be a part of a complete and balanced pet food diet. However, pets should not be fed cheese from table scraps, which could contain too much fat and salt.
BTW, The parmesans are very low in fat, 3 grams.
