Not a pumpkin nor a nog fan. Now Tom & Jerry or Hot Buttered Rum I can go for.

BarTopDancer 11-17-2009 03:23 PM

You can have it ALL! Take it somewhere far, far away.

Far Far away land would be ideal.

Buttered Rum sounds vile too.

pass me some fruit cake as well. Yummy.

Eggnog, Tom & Jerry, buttered rum.... love it all.

Pumpkin? Can't handle that. Pumpkin spices, sure, and pumpkin spice lattes... but not pumpkin itself.

I hereby surrender all my fruitcake to anyone who will take it.
I like eggnog, but I prefer to dilute it 1:1 with milk because it's a bit too rich.
Pumpkin pie is okay, but it must have a good crust and be topped with a fluffy white substance or the deal is off.

I don't like the pumpkin pie they serve on Disney cruise ships. But otherwise it competes for my favorite pie.

In no way did that abomination deserve to be called "pumpkin pie".

Disneyphile 11-17-2009 03:45 PM

I can't stand pumpkin pie, except from my mom's recipe which is a bit different from the usual lightly spiced squishy squashy crap. And no, I won't share that recipe - I'd like to keep it as a family tradition. :)

I do love fresh roasted pumpkin seeds in various flavors though and various sweeter items made/flavored with pumpkin. But, pumpkin soup and the like.... blech!

Fixed it for you.

Well sure, if you want to watch me do a spit-take.
