OMFG. Mufasa has busted out the bathroom window screen and taken off. We didn't even hear him. I went to close the window, saw the hole, and he's gone. OMFG. I am so freaking out right now. We're trying to find him and he's just not anywhere nearby. |

 Come back, Mufasa! :( |

I drove the neighborhood a bit, and we put some food out on the patio. He's just nowhere. And, he doesn't even know his name yet. :( I've never lost a pet before. EVER. And, our bathroom window is really high up. He's definitely gone through it though, because the blinds were also bent up. I am panicking something fierce, because he's only been with us for 5 days, and I don't think that's long enough for him to know where home is. I've already put an alert out on his microchip, but still... that doesn't help if a car hits him or someone decides to keep him. ****. |

Stay positive. He'll turn up. Fingers crossed. |

GC, that's some kind of juju in your fingers - Ken just walked in with him. He was in a neighbor's garage, under their car. I'm still crying. |

And, now I have a nice intoxicating apple martini. It's a damn fine hour for booze, that's for sure. At least now, I'll be able to sleep tonight. |

I have images of Clint Eastwood breaking out of your bathroom window.... |

While I've been nursing this martini and hugging Mufasa almost non-stop, Ken's doweled all the windows so they'll only open to 3 inches, still allowing for airflow, but preventing any more escapes from Mufasa/Static/Houdini. I just wonder what other name he's going to earn next. |

I'm so glad Ken found Mufasa! I wish we'd found our Pigeon. She escaped through a screen sorta like Mufasa, only she pushed the screen out just enough to squish herself between it and the window sill. I miss my girl. |
