Yay, Mufasa is back. :)

Deebs ~ When did Pigeon go missing? Recently? Oy. :(

Disneyphile 11-18-2009 11:19 AM

Poor Pigeon. :(

What is it with wanderlust in some kitties? :(

BarTopDancer 11-18-2009 11:36 AM

Tiger used to get out somehow and just wander the back yard.

Tigger used to escape and hide under the lemon tree in my parents back yard.

Springer once knocked out a screen and was "missing" for a few hours before I noticed. By "missing" I mean my parents had no clue he had gotten out and I heard him meowing outside.

Boo was an either abandoned or an outside cat who adopted me and hasn't wanted to set foot out there since.

Before we built the SunPorch, Linus and occasionally Watson would sometimes try to zip out the front door when it was open. Now they spend all their time out on the porch--screened in, roofed over, but still "outside"--and seem pretty happy.

Disneyphile, I'm really glad Mufasa came back! Deebs, I'm sorry Pigeon hasn't.

I think my post about her escape kinda got lost in between the loss of Lilly, Haggis, and other kitty talk.

Thanks, you guys. I should have known not to leave the window open. But I kind of thought she was satisfied just sitting on that window sill, breathing the fresh air. I had no idea she was plotting to flatten herself for her escape. She must have been scared, she had never been an outdoor girl. I like to believe someone kept her, though they would have had to lure her with food because she is shy with new people. But she was very affectionate and cuddly with us.

1310 new posts.

Florida was great - got to visit my grandpa, do quite poorly at MouseAdventure, have an amazing dinner at Victoria and Albert's, and walk walk walk until I could walk no more. Oh- also had my first ever visit to a water park. Surprise: Didn't hate it! Bigger surprise: Loved the enclosed slide the best!

Tons of photos and video to wade through. And those 1310 new posts.

And big hugs to those with kitty-related sadness.

And you didn't introduce yourself to me? I didn't even realize you'd be there.

If you did introduce yourself and I've forgotten, I abjectly apologize. As crazy as the event was for players, it was ten times that for staff.

And that's why I didn't want to bug you - didn't want to crowd you during the frenzy.

But, team Heffalump and Woozle are planning to be at Reindeer Games, so if it's not an enormous bother we'll say hey howdy hey at some point.

We're glad we DID say Howdy to Andrew when we did MA - he's cute !! ;)

...and we got to chat briefly with Stan4rdSteph (sp?) too !

I'm glad Mufasa came back! I go and work 12 hours and miss all of the drama! I'm sorry about Pigeon. It is horrible when one loses a pet and you don't know where they've gone or what become of them.

Jack got out the other night at 3 am. Thurston woke up and had to pee and, as we were coming inside, Jack ran out. I was lucky I even saw the bad man! It was pitch black outside and I went running through the spider webs and overgrown vines to grab his big orange butt. He used to be an outside cat, but he also used to chase cars. Bad, bad kitties!
