There has been snow in the mountains for a while now- it's the lower elevations that are getting hit now for the first time.

We had a brief break in the weather, but now it's pouring snow again. With accumulation. Ish.

This year, I am thankful for living in a state where AC was necessary in November.

So... what's the temperature going to be like in March ?!?!?!?

Cadaverous Pallor 11-26-2006 05:23 PM

The weather here is....perfect. Perhaps that's why my condo cost as much as a mansion would elsewhere.

Kevy Baby 11-26-2006 05:50 PM

Susan takes care of the monthly bills. (It is part of our plan to share the money responsibilities 50/50: I make it and she spends it.)

I just found out that our monthly electric bill is $150. There are only the two of us in a small condo. Bottom floor (I don't think the AC has run in a while). Our appliances (where applicable) are gas.

So what causes such an outrageously high electric bill? 12 bearded dragons in six separate terrariums, each with a flousecent UV bulb and an incandescent haet lamp - the latter being 100 watt in all but one terrarium (which has a 60 watt). These run 14 hours per day (although I am overdue to back the time down to 12 hours).

Ouch.

Refridgerators are the usual suspect in high electricity bill, heat lamps, and other appliances can contribute as well but keeping the old fridge/freezer in the garage usually doubles the bill
