Well that's good. I much prefer when my freezer stops working randomly and starts working deterministicly.

Look for the temperature control knob inside the freezer/refrigerator. Spin it back and forth a couple times, and set it back to the original value. Maybe the thermostat is stuck. Is there much lint/junk on the coils?

I'll check all of those things. Thanks guys.

The fridge is still cycling on and off. The air just stops being cold. I'm hoping it's not the compressor but I have a feeling it is.

I got my 5 year watch and pin from work today...

It was left on the counter with a coworker while I attended to some business away from my work area.

Along with the instructions for managers on properly recognizing employees - so I got a lovely blank congratulations card :(

It's good to feel appreciated...

So our DSL modem went dark yesterday, no longer even registering power. And while we suspiciously chatted with out neighbor, who's same modem died earlier this week on a Verizon conspiracy to take out it's competitors, I had to aknowledge that the modem was no more.

On the plus side, along with our replpacement modem will come upgraded technology that will double our bandwidth, making us even faster than before.

Alas, there is also a downside - we'll be without broadband for 2-3 weeks as the upgrade takes place. We've been given dial-up access for the interim, so I'll appologize in advance for NA and I taking a pass at any of your multi-media links, vacation pics, and such for the time being - it's back to text basics for us, at least in the near future.

I feel your pain.

I guess I will refrain from emailing an mp3 of my latest podcast

How long would 70mb take to download?
