Got my H1N1 shot today. No ill effects so far.

Maddie's high risk because of her diabetes so I got her the nasal spray on Saturday. We spent 5 hours in line at her school. They keep running out here. The clinic was from 9-2 students only and if you got in line at 9 you didn't make the cut to get one.

How awful. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, but we had to schedule an appointment ahead of time.

Here - as far as I can tell. You can only get one if you go to the county health clinics. And they're hit/miss. The woman behind me in line was pregnant and had gone there but was turned away. Maddies's school district did clinics at 4 schools this weekend and each school only had 1000 doses. I'm not sure how many kids are in the district but it's more than 4000. They are supposed to do another round of clinics in a few weeks but it's dependent on getting enough of the vaccines.

Oh, did I happen to mention we're seeing her in March ? :evil: :D
