Well, it is pretty difficult to keep up with all of our (10) cats.

How on earth did he manage to do that????

Poor kitty boy- I hope he feels better very soon, and I hope his recuperation time isn't too stressful for all!

It wasn't until you said Orca that I figured out which feline is Sid. Did he fall out of the bathroom sink? Hope he's feeling better soon.

We don't know what happened exactly. I wasn't home and Chris was in the kitchen. There was playing and chasing going on. He probably was tearing through the house, slip on the floor and slammed himself into a wall (or something like that). Our vet said "big guys fall hard". I guess so!

My 20-pounder sends Sid all the best. (Tsunami is prone to some pretty reckless running and jumping as well. He's always been playful, but these days, a little miscalculation can result in some hard knocks.)

Tree is up and decorated. I snagged all the Shiny Brite ornaments. Looks really nice. And I found this amazing tree skirt that my grandmother had made that matchs my stocking.

Somehow I missed Alex and GD both explaining how the LHC will work and not end the world. I feel much, much better. Thank you!

[refrains from making jokes about stockings....]

Y'know, 40 used to seem old. Now... not so much.
