Since you'll be asking that question in one context or another until you die, don't let it keep you up nights. You'll be up nights soon enough. The whole labor and delivery thing is especially exhausting for a man.

so.... do you believe in Fortune Cookies?

i snacked on three fortune cookies today.

the fortunes went like this:
  • you have a potential urge and the ability for accomplishment
  • soon, a visitor shall delight you

and from a different cookie company:

  • A treasured friend, not often seen, soon will visit you

oh, i love imagination.

So, I brought the dogs mommy a bouquet of flowers from our company. She gave me my xmas gift early - a beautiful, and genuine, string of pearls she had picked up in China. WOW!

I've forgotten if I mentioned that I got the stomach flu on Sunday. You remember the kind you used to get when you were 10 years old? Yeah, that one. It is possible that it was an alergic reaction to a medication and slightly possible it was food poisioning but I believe it was probably the flu. I always joke that my immune system is pretty good because I go do DL so often and get exposed to a lot of icky diseases. However, I haven't been going to the park regularly at all. I went to DL on Friday.

Forget an apple a day. A visit to DL every week is more like it. I guess I must resume my health regeme.

Did anyone else in our little party get sick or was I the only lucky one? I hope so, because It's been 3 days now since I have had a substantial meal. I'm 10 pounds down on the world's most unhealthy diet.

Did I mention I made an illegal left turn to get to the hospital with our first? Illegal!

And that I drove 40 miles from Petaluma to San Francisco for our second? At 1:00 a.m!

And that I killed two med students? (Well, I should have.)

I'm the hero here.
