So...

We purchased a little Xmas gift for ourselves over the weekend: the complete first season of Saturday Night Live. All 24 episodes in their original 90 minute format (The shows were later edited down to 60 minutes in syndication, which really annoyed me when I would try to videotape them).

Matthew is digging seeing them for the first time while I am joyfully dancing down memory lane. :) Really great stuff, this is.

Oh, and we also FINALLY renewed our AP's, choosing to get the deluxe ones this go around. Went to the park last Thursday to do this, and it was pretty empty until evening rolled around. The parade was ok, the fireworks were wonderful and the park looked beautiful. We hadn't been since October and it seemed like forever. Whew...

The ever classic Pocket Fisherman for my son who likes to fish in the stream out behind our house. Given the pocket fishermans portability and ease of use it seemed like a good idea. Plus I got two for one! Woo hoo!
