I was afraid to make a link because I didn't know who would get the information I typed in and what they would do with it. This smells like an information gathering scam. But I'll just use my catch-all email to create the link and then post it after I get home tonight.

A guy just walked by wearing a t-shirt that said "Pancakes On The Rocks" and I just giggled a bit. :cakes:

That's a Pancake Parlour (Sydney's first) located in the historic "Rocks" area of Sydney (right near Circular Quay in the heart of the city)

On returning to Australia, Mr Meadmore soon found out why this pancake-eating obsession had not hit our shores. There was a difference in the way our wheat germinated, therefore producing different flour. So, for the first 10 years of operation, they imported the original Aunt Jemima mix from America until a local company could supply the strain needed to make those American style pancakes.

Well ain't we all fancy like. Sure you have pancake "Parlours" but we have Dennys that are open 24-Hours and can get shiny light bulbs that look like candles anytime we want! :p

Errr, on second thought. How much is land down under? There's a house or two on Kawau Island that look nice.

When I was in Honolulu, I had macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup. They were outstanding.
