I met up for lunch with a friend I haven't seen since the 6th grade. We found each other on Facebook and she lives up north.

Here's how one of our conversations went:

E "Do the Ducks have anything special going on today?"
M "They are playing in SJ tonight, why?"
E "Because they have a huge set up in front of the castle"
M [confused look] "I may have to upgrade to a PAP and check it out. But they aren't owned by Disney anymore.
E "Ya, they have all sorts of Oregon Ducks stuff up.
M "OOOOO Oregon Ducks. I thought you meant Anaheim Ducks. Ya, I got nothing"

Mom and I were playing Rock Band, and we didn't suck too bad. She was on drums and I was singing. ....Not to sound all high about myself, but...... I rule!! :D

As usual I forget one gift for the Wolfette...well actually she threw it out without knowing it and it just dawned on me this morning, something was missing from Santa's gifts.

Just printed out another one (creative note).....1 year pass to Knott's. Should make for a nice surprise this morning!

Holy. Crap. I have something that I've been wanting for a while now: a boyfriend!! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):) So happy now.

Mom and Dad are breaking out in hives now.

Aw, what a lucky fella.

He's a great kid, so I'm not unhappy about it. We'll watch them like HAWKS, of course, but he really is a good kid. When they were in preschool together, his mom and I used to joke about them dating when they grew up- man, where did the time go?:rolleyes:
