Books are awfully therapeutic, don't you think?

Better than penicillin in my book (pun intended).

I do agree that books are therapeutic!

Hubby and I took the kayak out in the harbor this morning. An hour and a half of paddling = really enjoying my Fatburger lunch. And my cafe mocha.

Oh yes! I love going to bookstores, especially used book stores. I do need to hit the giant emporium when I am next down, right Lisa? I know you will tell me again where I am to go, if you don't go with me!

This is why I can't warm to a kindle. I do not have a commute long enough to read anything and I love curling up on the couch with a good book.

So, what did ya get???

OMG, Oh No! :(

Damn, a missed opportunity. There are precious few used book stores in SF anymore, very sad. Not too many independent bookstores, either for that matter.

Just hit a Iliad books in North Hollywood. Lots of books on my "want" list that I can't afford (nice to see 'em), and tons of cheap books that I don't have time to read. I did pick up one paperback. Book therapy is indeed wonderful.

We have quite a few old used bookstores here, all of them pretty good.

First it was the raccoons, then the opossums, tonight it was a skunk that walked right up to me. Good thing we don't have bears.
