I feel puke-y, and will probably not last long at work today. Too bad I have so much to get out the door first thing in the morning.

Agreed, which makes it even more of a shame that she beat out Beyonce and Lady Gaga for album of the year. They both had great performances last night.

The Grammy awards just depressed me. A bunch of humorless people congratulating themselves and awarding mediocrity as the ship goes down. Blah.

But I do love Beyonce and Lady Gaga. And nominee Patton Oswalt.

And I'm in the frickin industry.

I will go see some local indie/punk bands tonight and feel better.

Mary J. Blige needs to learn how to pronounce her words correctly! When she sang Bridge Over Troubled Water with Andrea Bocelli, she made the song into "Brie Ovuh Trouble Wa-uh". I thought it was just a fluke the first time, but she kept repeating it that way. She had other pronunciation errors throughout the song, but that's the one I can remember due to its replication.

We can blame Kanye for Taylor's win. After his hijack of her VMA award she became the "little sister" of the music world.

Those acrobatic moves were seriously awesome.
