Do these hats do anything away from the park?

I know it ain't so, but I'd buy a pair if they worked via a WiFi (or 3g) connection so that they lit up with the show no matter where you were. I'd love to have them up on a shelf, see them start blinking and know the show was starting...

I'll have the screwdriver and a spare set of batteries for myself tonight. When we wore our ears last Friday (just cuz we're geeks), mine wouldn't power up, even with new batteries. So I got new ears. I'm not going to replace the batteries until I need to.

I bought new batteries and my ears turn on but they won't turn off so I took the batteries out.
