My brain is totally scrambled today. I woke up really early, went back to bed, then stayed in alpha sleep for another 3 hours, attempting to wake up every 15 minutes, but being "sucked back" into the dream world. And, the dreams were very disturbing and bizarre. I still feel a bit confused. It's weird.

I'm right there with ya! I could NOT sleep last night at all. I was doing an overnight (that I've been doing for almost 3 weeks) and suddenly I'm awake, tossing, turning, turning the light on, reading some more, getting sleepy, turning the light off, being WIDE awake, lather rinse repeat. Finally I got up at 5:30, let the dogs out to pee and came home. I read until about 6:30 and finally - with the help of a snuggly pug - fell asleep until 9. I did manage to take a very short (45) minute nap this afternoon, but I'v been confused, tired, unmotivated, overwhelmed and mildly depressed all day long. I would like to move back to THIS time zone please.
