It's the people, not the venue. That being said, because I have ADD and am all over the place all the time, FB is my window. Elvis would have agreed.

Also, on the group page there's an "Edit Settings" button on the upper right.

I think I'm one of the last people on the planet that doesn't have FB but I don't see a need for it. I also don't need my Mom and uber religious/crazy Aunt looking through my stuff. My nephew is having that issue but for some reason they haven't found my son yet! Lucky boy.

I am happy here on LoT and that is where I will stay. Have fun though!

Whatever. I'm fine to stop by here once in a while. But the fact of life in America today, is that I'm hardly unusual in saying I'm on Facebook ALL DAY LONG.

I'm not sure what to make of that little factoid. Guess I'm just unAmurrican.

It's been two days. When will someone say something other than "Hey! This is Facebook!"

So changing the settings seems to have stopped the emails, any way to get it to stop telling me when I log in how many updates there have been to the group?

Who's going to start the "From Facebook" thread, in which everything posted there is reposted here? ;)

Why is this in any way a big deal?

Added - maybe that came off with the wrong tone. I'm not seeing why we're talking about Facebook vs No Facebook.
