I thought he was really good in 'Band of Brothers'. :)

Lallapalooza '91. Arrested Development, Rage, Tool, Fishbone, Alice in Chains, Primus, Dinosaur Jr., and more. Blazing hot, muddy, and I had to leave half way throught Primus' set because I was going to puke from the fumes coming off the piles of burning garbage. Awesome first concert!!

My next was Mighty Might Bostones at Soma in San Diego. Skankin' Pickle opened. Another great show, and I liked that I had two wildly different concert experiences right off the bat...from huge blockbuster festival to tiny no-name (at the time) club show.

My brother took me to Black Sabbath at the Potland colliseum for my first concert. Unless of course you count Up With People when I was 7 or 8!!

Sheesh, I walk away for an hour and you guys have gone crazy in here!! I love it!

Quick derailment...

Actually, Donny sucks as an actor, but he hasn't had that much practice. As for Mark, no honey, he is doing quite well as an actor. I think he's pretty good, but it depends on the roles. He's been great in some roles, and bad in others. Two words: Boogie Nights!

Ok, back to the thread...

I can honestly say that there aren't many of you that are making me totally jealous. ;) I could skip, and did skip, most of what you've listed. I saw Beach Boys a couple times. Not even on Menudo...who wants to see singing soup?
And GC, Paula and Samantha...? Nice.

Actually, I am a little jealous. I didn't get to many concerts. I still don't. You guys rule!! It's a lot of money and I feel I should spend in on the ones I think I will remember forever. For example, I saw Eric Clapton, Aerosmith, and to top it all, Frank Sinatra!

Shaun is partly why my daughter is named......Cassidy. My husband HATES having to admit that she is named after Shaun. He usually won't tell someone unless they ask if she was named after David. Apparently, Shaun is more palatable, since no guys know who he was, until he mentions the Hardy Boys. :D My poor man.

Oh yeah, he did. The first show he did was more the Da Doo Ron Ron type. Remember his first couple of albums? With the baseball cap? Then the white piano. His second concert was more him trying to change his image, his album at the time was called 'Under Wraps' and a little more hardcore. For Shaun Cassidy. ;)

Hey, fessin' up time. I wanted to name my first born Fabian. Or Elvis. My sister never lets me forget.

I did like 'Iris' for a girl. That would have been cool. But, when I had my firstborn, I went with the 'Flying J's'. {that is what they call us, what do they call you and your 'C's'?}

I, too will admit I loved Shaun Cassidy! I had a t-shirt in grade school. It was one of the iron-ons with him looking sexy on the front and a I Love Shaun iron-on on the back!

Me too. I watched 'The Hardy Boys' every Saturday because of him and Parker Stevenson.
:D

MouseWife 01-12-2005 06:17 PM

:p You guys!!

I had one of those shirts, too but *cough* I wasn't in grade school... :o

Ha. When I was in L.A. staying with my sister, church was at 7 p.m. on Sundays. The same time as the Hardy Boys.

I used to get a warm washcloth and pretend I had a fever so I could stay home and watch the show.

I'm embarrased to admit it now, but my first concert was New Kids on the Block. Don't lynch me I was 12. ;)

Rush- Halloween night, 1976. I was a bit young, but it was a lot of fun. My first truly memorable one was early on- Black Sabbath and Van Halen. I had a friend who hailed from Huntington beach, and she told me about this kick ass band named Van Halen that she used to see in the clubs down there. Black Sabbath truly sucked (Ozzy was doing lots of drugs then), but Van Halen blew everyone away- they had just released their first album, and I went right out and bought it. (Yes, an album. ).
