Thanks but we've already picked one up. Found it on Craig's List.

I have a working gardener that works cheap. He even comes to you!

Before I haul 'em to Chino for recycling, does anyone want 1000 or so CD jewel cases? How about 1000 DVD Amaray cases?

I can't remember if you were around for the conversation or not, but I believe Jennie said that libraries take them and use them for their rentals.

I'm hoping to recycle mine at the library - when I get done with the re-storage project.

Y'know... I must have missed that. Thanks!

Now to find a worthy library...

I don't need them, but I can't find the thread where you mentioned what you keep your cds and dvds in now. I'm trying to downside and store sensibly.

Shoot, one of CP's relatives just mentioned something about a new, or newly remodeled, library in Silver Lake. I'll see if CP remembers more than I.

ETA: Ah, here we go. It'll be done this Spring. http://la.curbed.com/archives/2008/0...ke_library.php. I think there's already a Friends of the Library for it, they may be taking donations. ( Friends link )

Just in case it was missed in my earlier post:

The really small George Foreman grill is still up for grabs. :)
