Yup, sure is.

Which was the whole point of the episode. M&T's claim (as voiced by Kyle in the episode) is that either everything is okay to make of, or nothing is.

Yeah, I don't understand why they would censor some and not other offending stuff. Fear perhaps. I would hope that Christians have gotten enough ridicult lately to be able to take a joke. Maybe the Muslims' sense of humor is on the fritz.

Maybe you Christians need to become violent in order to get the respect you deserve.

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition..

I'm pretty sure that "Comedy Central refueses to show it" thing was part of the joke, folks.

That's not the impression I got from reading these:
story 1
story 2

South Park Studios

Interesting. If it's true, that's just sickening...but I'm a bit suspicious, only because I've seen the Scientology episode since CS supposedly pulled it.

SzczerbiakManiac 04-20-2006 04:14 PM

I'm not sure the "pulling" of the Scientology episode (Trapped in the Closet) was quite the same as the pulling of the "stigmata" episode (Bloody Mary). My impression is that Bloody Mary was pulled from future broadcasts specifically because of protests from Catholics (the producers/CC have said as much) whereas Trapped in the Closet's missing repeat the same week of Hayes' departure was just to let temperatures cool down for a bit. I don't recall reading anything about an official protest over TitC, other than rumors of Tom Cruise's alleged refusal to promote Mission Impossible 3 if it wasn't pulled. Do I think Cruise is capable of such shenanigans? Hell yes! But until I hear something from Matt & Trey confirming the rumors, I'm not going to jump to that conclusion.

Why don't you send the guys a PM?
