Oooh! I know someone with a (slightly used) tiara! I think he has pearls, too! |
Wow a whole night of standing around by myself stairing at my feet. What fun! I can't wait!

During my real prom, all of us alternative kids were at a three day kegger at Farregut State Park. |
I might have worn that to prom

Okay, first thought.....that dress is on backwards. :(
Second....there are proms in Portland that are really popular. I know tons of people that go! It's really funny. They've had 80's themed ones and 70's themes and they are well-attended....people go all out on their dresses/suits/tuxes! The one at the Kennedy School last year sold out (I'm trying to find pics online, but I can't...darn)!!! My sister and her fiance went to an 80's one a few years ago and had a blast. If I didn't hate dressing up so much, I'd probably love it too. :) The only one I've really been tempted to go to is the annual transgender ball.....it's always in 80's style and it always sells out. Maybe I should make it a goal to find the perfect 80's dress and go this year!! I'd check LA Weekly in the spring-time. I'm sure there's one down there!! They're so popular here! But they're only advertised in smaller independent papers. |

Then he asked if it was on backwards... |

I'm all for what NA and Erica said - a swanky party would be much more to my liking than another brush with 1989. |

Yeah, I'm sure it's a pain to organize, but dammit, I love proms! I went to mine with a best girlfriend at the time and it was fan-damn-tastic fun. |
