I am a late thread-clicker...and am sorry to observe that I'll be ensconced at work for the duration of her visit. *hearty sniffles* Yowza and I send hugs!

Are you kidding?! I've been sitting on my ass all day. I don't have time to scroll back! Are you trying to invoke my hex powers?

You'd better have a good time and give a thorough report.

Oh, and have you been through Seatac (I'm assuming you're going through Seatac) since they remodeled that atrium area? If not, you should check it out. For pokey little Seatac it's pretty nice.

Oh, and I want to hear all about Medieval Times and their "real" medieval menu!

wendybeth 06-16-2006 10:47 PM

I've been there before, and if memory serves (and it's hazy, as they were having a Corona and Cuervo special in the courtyard bar prior) it involved poultry pieces, ye olde bbq riblets, some funky soup served in a dish with a handle, the traditional corn-on-the-cob that was so beloved in times of olde, and bread, Medici style. (Garlic). I spent most of the time commenting on what fabulous hair our champion had, at least according to the tape we made of the event. Eric must have said 'wench' to our server at least twenty times more than was appropriate.

" We' won, of course. :D

When I went to MT many eons ago, they served potatoes  Oh well, at least I got to call the watiresses "Wench".

Prudence 06-16-2006 11:37 PM

I almost mentioned the potatoes! I saw something on the food network or travel channel about MT and they were going on and on about the authentic food - including the foil-wrapped baked potatoes. Still, it sounds like silly fun.

wendybeth 06-16-2006 11:40 PM

It is very silly, good fun. I may stay sober for this one, so I'll be able to give a more accurate report.

Prudence 06-16-2006 11:48 PM

Bonus points if you wear a pointy princess hat!

Cadaverous Pallor 06-17-2006 10:14 AM

So, what is going on with a meet?? There's nothing on the calendar and there's no way I remember what went on in this thread. Someone decide! :)

wendybeth 06-17-2006 11:13 AM

Why don't we shoot for Thursday evening? We're going to be in the Park all day for the kid's actual b-day, and it's a weeknight so DP can be there. Friday works as well, so whatever the consensus works out to be works for us!
