And the sad thing is, I actually recognize that bad from the Fugly site. They're Finnish! And the lead singer has a pyrotechnic battle axe. I'm so jealous!

Ralphie's Finnish. He read that the country's really happy about the honor.

6/6, regardless of the year, to me has always represented beginning of the turning of the tide in WWII. 62 years ago today was D-day.

I never knew anyone involved in the invasion. I would suspect that if I had they would never have been interested in talking it. A bloody day, a day where countless numbers of young men, the first to hit the beach, knew that stepping out of their landing craft meant almost certain death.

To the families of those who paid that price that day and to any survivors of the invasion itself, I salute you and you have my eternal gratitude.

I will know the end of the world has come when Hollywood has stopped remaking bad films that should not have been made in the first place or movies based on TV shows from the 1960's etc. Looks like in movieland the only TV show that will be sacred and not be touched is I Love Lucy.

Who is going to see Cars this weekend?

So - I seem to be experienceing some workplace "rapture" it seems many of my more "devout" Christian Co-workers have opted to stay home today leaving us "heathens" to cover their responsisbilities.

I shall certainly indulge in some naughtiness today as just compensation for covering some holy a$$
