Well, I can't believe that Project Runway

I need to catch it again on a re-run because TIVO cut off the final minutes, much to my disgust.

I liked Laura's cocktail dress and could not believe Kayne made it through except and Vincent looked like he was in PJs. Everyone certainly had interesting concepts for being a jet-setter. Tat boy's was right for him, but I don't think it was particularly jet setting. So I am unsure exactly what the criteria was for the garments, except they had to travel well.

Interesting to see what happens next week.

Kayne was an embarassment. God HELP us all if he ever wore that in public. At least I'd laugh. Angela looked like a Jo-Anne's sales clerk threw up on her. I'm glad she's gone. I like Kayne but I don't think his style is very contemporary. Everyone else did a good job, I thought. I travel like Vincent, so I could relate to his outfit. I wish someone would send me to Paris! (But,I'd probably be sent home on the next plane ;))

So, does Angela get to fly back first class, too?

I didn't think they did a very good job of defining jet-setter - if it's just 'travel well' than Vincent should have won. The fit didn't look that great for the simple garments that they were, though.

Kayne is still stuck in 'pagent-land' so I wasn't totally shocked by what he came up with - Uli's dress was boring - but I liked Laura's, tat' boy's, and Michael's stuff. Though Laura's was far from maternity-wear!

Are the contestants prevented from contact with family? I wonder if they gave Laura an exception to contact her hubby with 'the news' that she let slip out to her Mom?

Well, I could not sleep, so I got up in the middle of the night and the TV is ususaly the best tranquilizer (well, other than drugs) so I ended up watching the latest episode of PR.

I'm afraid to admit it, I liked Jeffrey's gown in this challenge. Laura, clearly a good technician, just bores the pants off me. Michael Kors was right, shorten it and the model would have looked just like a maid! They're keeping her around because she is good at what she does, from a technical standpoint. She's not innovative and has not won a challenge yet, I would not be suprised if she is next to go, aside from Kayne.

Lani and I both loved Kayne's dress and hated Jeffrey's so we were at polar opposites from the judges on that. But then I'm going to have a problem with any dress, like Jeffrey's, that seems dedicated to exposing the crotch.

Otherwise we agreed with them on the other dresses.

Oh, I forgot, I also liked Kayne's gown, he was really back on track for this. I did not see what they thought was so new and different in Uli's offering, more of the same, just no bright pattern.

I couldn't figure out why they disliked Kayne's dress. I loved the colors and his dresses always seem to flow very nicely.

I felt bad for Michael. He put so much work into his, only to have eggs thrown at it.

I like Uli's dresses, but the tops of them always seem off to me.

I am just glad that Vincent is gone. Now if they will just Auf Laura I will be a happy camper.

My prediction for the final 3 is Michael, Uli and Jeffery (even though he still reminds me of Gul DuCat from Star Trek: DS9).

Well, in this he was (to me) clearly out of his element and it showed. I was shocked at the difference in how nice it looked once they turned down the, ummm, what would you call it, décolleté?
