I just want to go somewhere where I can actually wear a dress.
|
You can wear a dress anywhere. Just about.
|
Not to work.
|
Well, not your work.... :) Which is just about every day for you. So... ummm...
Hmmm... |
I'm starting to think skirts look good again. I haven't worn skirts regularly since, oh... jr. high (before my thighs started rubbing together, ugh)
But the more I see myself in shorts, and the more I see what becomes of my legs, the more I'm thinking a few wispy long skirts or cute A-lines might be just the thing. |
I'm with you on needing a place to wear a dress.
I love to buy them, though. When we were attending Council Meetings {I tagged along...} I would dress nice and professionally. Daily? T-shirt and jeans. I know a lot of moms who dress up just because. Doesn't seem practical. |
I'm beginning to feel I'm going to end up on an episode of "What Not To Wear".
|
Well, I don't think of dresses as necessarily "dressing up." I've been turned onto just wearing skirts and dresses more often. Unfortunately, I just don't have as many dresses as I'd like.
Hopefully, I'll still want dresses once I have the funds for them. |
After wearing jeans so much, I feel like a tomboy and it feels strange to wear a dress, like dressing up. Even a casual dress. I did pick one up and wore it casually and it felt right. It was black, of course.
Oh man, I think I would definitely be on 'What Not to Wear'. I don't always match my shoes/purse, I know my clothes are currently too tight...my accessories are whatever I had on from the day before...{gold hoops, bracelet}...but I do buy a lot of them...just never use them... |
I would love to be on WNTW. I don't know how I'm ever going to be able to scrape up enough to get a new wardrobe any time soon.
