The media player is up on coachella.com so you can start sampling the music for 2008.

Start? I've been glued to MySpace for two weeks.

Aphex Twin and Goldfrapp have just been added to the COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL 2008 bill.

Kate Nash, Serj Tankian, Redd Kross
, and Adele have also joined the line-up

Redd Kross????

Aphex Twin and Goldfrapp would be potentially interesting.

Ghoulish Delight 03-12-2008 07:39 AM

Aphex Twin! Aphex Twin! Aphex Twin!

I am loving the new stuff from Goldfrapp, and have been enjoying some tunes from Adele, as of late.

What days are they playing? (Not that it matters much, it'll just help me decide how much sulking I'll have to do on the proper day.)

Oh, and Vampire Weekend. If you happen to be around and don't know what to see... see them! So good!

Ghoulish Delight 03-12-2008 07:53 AM

Vampire Weekend has grown on me. I liked them initially, then quickly grew bored of them, but the more I hear them the more I like.

I guess for me, they're more of an act that is listenable over a long period of time, rather than musical crush-worthy, although that is what is making them crush-worthy for me. I honestly can't remember the last album that I could listen to all the way through and just enjoy without saying WTF at some point. So, color me impressed.

Adele is great. She could be the next Amy Winehouse. Or maybe Duffy is the next Amy Winehouse, which would make Adele the next Duffy.

Either way, Adele's album "19" is worth checking out.

blueerica 03-12-2008 12:43 PM

I like Duffy. Of course, I'm living in BFE at the moment, but have they been playing her on any sort of indie radio lately? Ugh, I need to re-investigate what radio stations I need to listen to out here. It's hard to figure out. I'm so settled in my old ways.
