Iowa St is up by 10 with 12 to play. I picked Iowa St because they pursued one of the HS players I have coached, who opted for the Air Force Academy instead.

The scary game for me right now is OK St. I have them in the championship game and they turn the ball over more than they shoot. Only up by 6 mid second half.

I love a good upset, but it would sure screw my pool.

Of course, in memory of the great Jimmy V, a small part of me is always happy when NC State wins a tourney game.

I grew up believing that Jimmy Valvano was the devil....and when he died I was at a bar or a party, can't remember, and his picture came up on the TV and I started spouting off about how I hated that f-er. Really spewing, cussing, might have flipped off the TV, basically being a hate-filled jerk off. Someone turned up the volume and everyone looked at a very embarrassed me with a newfound feeling of revulsion for the girl who hated the dead guy. :blush:
