I enjoyed it too! Nothing earth shattering, just an enjoyable romp into super hero land.

My friends were commenting on how odd it was that Robert Downey Jr. actually looked sexy, and Gwyneth Paltrow didn't look like a hildebeast.

OH... and if you do see it, there's a little thing after the credits so be sure to stay for that!

Here's what happened after the credits:

Spoiler:
Stark comes home after his press conference and finds somebody in his home.

It is Samuel L. Jackson and he introduces himself as Nick Fury, asks if Stark really thought he was the only superhero and that he is there to talk about the Avenger Initiative.

To people familiar with the comics I imagine this wasn't a huge surprise once Agent Coulson dropped the name S.H.I.E.L.D. combined with the fact that the current design of Nick Fury has been modeled on Jackson for a few years.

To me, who has no real familiarity with Marvel Comics (especially ones more recent than 20 years ago) it was a surprise to see Jackson, but I had no real idea what the scene suggested beyond a sequel.

Spoiler:
So Robert Downey Jr. comes back home, and there's someone in his house... Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury, who says something like, "I wanted to talk to you about the Avenger Initiative", or something like that.

Prompting my friend at the movies to comment on what a whore Samuel L. Jackson is -- "does he say no to ANYTHING?" ;)

Forget the new mall or IronMan ...what did you think of the huge mural at the theater??? (My brother-in-law's creation)

At the Arclight in hollywood they had one of the actual iron man suits worn by Robert Downey Jr. (in the main lobby, not in the dome). He's a pretty small guy, actually!!

And Jeff Bridges just looked ridiculous in the movie.

You'd all be ready for your close up, if they could find you.
