Steve,

If you don't like Yosemite in April, then don't go. But complaining about it every time those two words are uttered in a sentence isn't going to change it. LashPair is going to have a nice, long trip with many opportunities for us to see them. This isn't a "We're coming to the USA to see Yosemite, come and see us there or don't see us at all" trip.

Sounds like a sweet trip. I know you two will have an awesome time. Too bad I'll miss all the fun. Hope it all goes well for you two! :)

Did he give an opinion about Yosemite? I must have missed it.

Hahah, I knew Alex would encourage swimming in the Merced in April.

Ok, enough of my complaining about April in Yosemite. I love the Lashpair and am glad to be able to see them less expensively than visiting Japan. I am heartbroken about not visiting Japan, though. But my wallet is overjoyed!

Who's up for a Vancouver swanking? It's glorious up there!

A San Simeon/Hearst Castle swanking? We've talked about it for ages! April, baby!!

Oooh, all the fun events we can plan for So Cal if the Pair is planning to stay in "Anaheim" for two weeks. W00t!

I still want to make a trip to see the Lashes on their home turf. I think that would be fabulous. I could also visit my friends Colin and Peter in Perth.
:)

I'm excited to see the Lashes here in the US of A - but I'm still considering a jaunt to Tokyo either later this year or early next.

Reasonable airfare here.

LSPoorEeyorick 06-11-2008 12:24 PM

Heh. Those are less expensive than three of the four round-trip tickets (CA-->Michigan) that I just purchased yesterday. I'm still reeling from the sudden bank account weight loss.

innerSpaceman 06-11-2008 12:27 PM

Call me curmudgeonly ... but "cheap flights" scares me.

I mean, I know there can't be too many stops between L.A. and Tokyo, but .... you get what you pay for, and that's an immutable fact of life. So how crappy is my flight going to be when it's cheaper than a flight to Michigan??

I've also always wanted to see Austrailia ... and there'd be less of a language issue than with Japan. So I'm Up for a Down Under visit anytime!
