I'm probably even weirder offline, but not quite institutionalized weird... not quite :D

I think I'm basically the same online and in real life. Kind of reserved, but with a sarcastic and wry sense of humor. I could be way off though, it's easier for me to know other people than myself.

That's me in person.

Though I ramble on just as much. Am probably just as crass. And I'm a lot more oily in person. Heh.

But I think my personality online and off are pretty much the same, though I can be very shy in certain situations, and my moods vary a lot more in real life.

Your vocabulary... it's so BIG!

;)

EH1812 is just as fantastic in person as she is online. The times I've hung out with her, I find myself entranced with what she has to say about things -- much like online -- which I now realize sounds creepy, but it's totally true, so I'm not going to back down from it now.

(Hehehe -- I love catching up on threads after being away from the boards a few days!)

I don't know how I am offline as compared to online, but I would guess that I'm pretty much the same.

I like to talk to people I've gotten to know, but I also like to listen to what others have to say. I'm not quite as quiet as €, and less shy than NA.

But give me a few drinks and a good conversation.. WHEE!

Hee hee. Love you, Sam!

May I say, Rena, that I always think your Cletus impulse is silly. Of course you're bright and lovely. And I don't think I'm all that well-spoken, anyway. Better in the written word (if I'm here enough to write it. Which I'm not, lately.)

Aud may come off as not at all shy. She is, and she isn't. Some of you may remember the first party to which she accompanied me. I am not certain she spoke to anyone but me for the first hour. But then, put her in a room full of people she's met before and she's Dorothy Parker.

Mark. I'm going to kick your sorry butt if once more you try to pretend we're not friends.

My observation is that the friendly, fun group of people who post on the Lounge of Tomorrow are the same friendly, fun group of people in person!

Since these Web boards are conversational in general, many people tend to type like we speak--the opposite of formal reports/essays.

It's a given that we're all Disney fans, but what's great about the LoT is that we also have many, other interests, beside all-things Disney. So, in person and at meets, the conversations span wide-ranges of topics, interests, jokes and activities--with Disney discussions sneaking in once in a while. :D

The only major difference is that most of us call each other by our real names in person--another reason I love meets--to meet the people behind the screen names! :)
