Cootie catcher? We called those fortune tellers!
You would write, like, numbers on one set of insides, and colors on the other set, then you'd write stupid fortunes underneath them. |

thanks for the bump, goony Man, I'm always IT, and I can never run fast enough to tag anyone. You've brought back my scarred childhood memories! Bwaaaa! :( :p I made a billion cootie catchers, btw - and in my neck of the woods they were called fortune tellers. And they are much more fun than tag. So there. *holds up fortune teller* Ok Morrigoon, since you're here, why don't you pick a color? Red, Yellow, Blue, Green? |
Cootie Catchers = Fortune Tellers for those who don't like to use them to catch cooties! I always called them Cootie Catchers until I moved to California and heard them called something else.
But that something would become a nation-wide thing for kids to do never ceases to amaze me... |
Fortune tellers! Thats why I had no idea what you were talking about!
Hey CP, lets go sit over there on the grass and play with our fortune tellers, make some cats cradle and play Miss Susie. K? |
