Not that I don't appreciate a good prank. I just like well-executed, humorous ones.

You know, maybe because I caught on early (no, I did not know in advance), but once I started having a little fun with it, I didn't want it to stop. I know it was time, but I'm just sorry that the "night people" couldn't see things in their "altered state" - including Chris (sorry you missed all of the fun, honey).

A blanket apology to everyone whose posts I altered will have to do. If you'd like me to change or delete anything, I will be glad to do that. I just was trying to get rid of spoilers (and be Foolish). I sure hope I succeeded.

For all of you that are mad, I'm truely sorry you are mad. People were mad over the Taco Liberty Bell too, but, man, was that funny - and memorable.

the thing is, the great thing about conspiracy theories is that they are just theories, and a well worded reply with a distressed tone would have been far more effective then an edit job by the mods....just my nickel of input(to help with next years prank-a-thon). In my opinion, the mod editing was more a givaway then anything that could be said by a not in the loop poster, as it was in a sense a confirmation that it was all a prank.

Ah well. As you can read, there were STILL people who didn't get the prank. You can't fool everyone - even I figured it out early on.

I don't know, I just think that you could've created doubt in their mind by replying in a semi distressed tone that the page was hacked, admin password changed so its gonna take some re-hacking to get control of the boards re-established. Thankfully the hackers didn't do any further damage then just some minor changes. etc etc........ Would've created some thoughts of possibility of truth in my mind anyway, as that seems plausible to me. But I have a pretty evil mind, and sometimes like screwing with people.

I guess my evil mind was more in force today than my creative one. I didn't have any pre-warning that this was happening, so I was just responding.
