I confess I've never heard of the giant octopus cut from goonies.

I confess I've seen it - and there's a very good reason it was cut.

They solved that by tying up the hands of the girl on the plank, and there's an inserted line where the girl says "my hands are tied, I can't swim".

Seemed solved to me as a child watching it.

I confess, I don't give a crap if my childhoood loves don't seem that great now, I still love them and screw everyone else. (Goonies is still great btw :p )

I confess I have never seen Goonies

I took the family to Astoria a couple months ago to see some of the famous Goonie locations. The Goonie house was undergoing some roof repair. It looked like it had had a recent fire. Pretty bad too. Looked like over 50% of the roof was being rebuilt. It's sad to think that the house could have been lost completely if that fire got any worse.

I confess, I still haven't uploaded the pictures.
