Apparently Google wants to assist me in avoiding the start of my work week by not letting me access my work email... I don't know whether to be frustrated or celebrate.

So something under the sidewalk in Camarillo blew up this morning. Power flickered in my hubby's building a couple times, but that was all they got. The rest of the block and the neighboring ones lost power entirely. Subway was using a calculator to ring people up.
Husband and I went for a walk after lunch, and found a fire engine blocking a lane. Sidewalk was taped off with caution tape, and the lane blocked with cones. The FD guy said the vault exploded and they're keeping everybody away in case of secondary explosions. Not something that happens all the time. The sidewalk was visibly deformed and a few small chunks of debris lay in the street. |
Kimchi got super excited that her Daddy was going to take her for a walk. She was slam dancing with thurston, rolling over and showing her belly, making dinosaur noises...and then she rocketed into the air to give Chris a kiss on the nose.....except, she made his nose bleed.

I'm hoping Chris was bent over because my minds eye is seeing a flying Kimchi, and that makes me giggle!
Apparently it is free Slurpee day today. The boy is dying to go to 7/11. |
