Ive had it. the guy making them called them 'bacon jerkoff' (dunno. he was a bit of an odd bird)

but yeah, he'd twist them into spirals and deep fry them. they were simply awesome.

It would seem that the only thing I could come up with is sweets. But even some I could think of might not be too bad. I started to put apple fritters, but then apple and bacon go well.

I made a breakfast bananas fosters and added bacon. It was one of the best things I've ever created for breakfast. Everyone in my house loved it!

There is a chocolatier that makes a bacon chocolate... I'm certain € posted that somewhere in this thread...

See, I think bacon would taste good on vanilla ice cream. Then again, I'm somewhat lactose intolerant and ice cream is the thing that does it every time.

Twinkies - you might have me there.

Berries - are you kidding me? I think it would taste fantastic with berries! While I've never eaten them specifically to be together, nothing, in my mind, is better than a breakfast with bacon, eggs and some form of fruit.

I guess I'm in the frame of mind that nothing goes better with bacon than sweets. I'm not as big of a sweets fan, so perhaps that's why adding such a savory is so appealing to me...

News Alert!
I am thinking that peppermint and bacon might taste really bad. Really. Really. Bad.

Somebody had those. I don't remember where. But I did try one. They tasted HORRIBLE and smelled even worse.

Has anyone tried deep-fried bacon? I wonder how that would be.

Battered, or unbattered? I've had bacon that was cooked in a deep fat fryer (no batter). It was quite good, and not any greasier than normal.

I'd be really leery of eating something with "jerkoff" in the name.

I second DPR's remarks..
