Cooking: Steak, Dungeness crab and steamed fresh veggies. It was supposed to be artichokes, but the ones at the store looked sickly, so I passed. Belated VD day meal.:D

Apparently, there are a bunch of angry "America lovers" who wish to deny other Americans their basic constitutional rights. Loving America around here means blindly supporting the government and being pro-war, I guess. One bitch has even gone so far as to ask the cops to investigate the effigy as a hate crime. I'd like to go and open up some "dialogue" with these people.

Where is it at? Downtown?

Plus everything else that Not Afraid said - also, about one or two El stops away is Wicker Park (Damen) which is the "Melrose" of Chicago - lots of cool, swanky shops and eateries - Cafe Absinthe was awsome, and if you like shoes (or even if you don't) check out Fluvogs - coolest shoes ever.

I now have an extreme case of the Heebie Jeebies... As I sat at the computer, trying to control a hyper rat, something moved into my vision. It was a big icky spider. I jumped and squashed it. As I moved in for the kill the thing was tracking me. EWWWWWWWWWWW!

Now, if I could just calm the hyper rat down I might stop EWWWWW'ng.

I didn't go.....Crystal says I'm not stable enough to behave myself in these types of emotionally charged situations. I'm unstable? Look who was crazy enough to marry me.

Smart wife you have. ::hugs:: I would have gone down there and gave them an example of exactally how patriotic an anti-war person can be. It's probably for the best that you didn't go down. I still think you should have a candlelight vigil for the couple with the uniform and all the people who have died over there.
