Of course it's also just more fun to watch when he's playing well. Because you get to see ridiculous shots like this one. Ridiculous.

That was insane!!! Thanks for posting that

I do wish I remembered names better because I'd like to mock the two golf analysts I heard last week agreeing that it was pretty much inconceivable that Tiger could concentrate well enough to make the cut.

Here's my account of our meal at the San Francisco location of the same restaurant. Keller is an amazing chef.

You neglected to provide the link. Funny, you originally posted this because Prudence asked for details. :D

Pru, sounds like an amazing time. BTW, have you seen Hubert Keller's Secrets of the Chef? It's the only old-school cooking show we watch.

Pru, that sounds amazing. I'm glad you got to go so I can live vicariously!

I volunteered to scan the thousands of slides my dad took (about 40 years worth). Bill and I bought a slide scanner, as he has a bunch that he took in Europe in the 70's that he wants to scan also.

The scanner came this afternoon, so I decided that no time better than the present to start. I set it up, got it working, opened the first box of slides, and discovered that they were all in random order. I opened another box. Same thing. And then another, and another, and another... Slides from the 50's, 60's, 70's & 80's all mixed together in no order whatsoever!

Now, before I can scan anything, I need to sort through and put thousands of slides in order! How in hell did they get completely randomized?! WTF?!

Or you could just scan them and then sort the images

Yeah, that does seem to be the more manageable option.

I assume there is date info printed on the frame of the slides you want to capture?

If that's the case you will have to enter that for each slide manually anyways, so yeah, scan then sort.

*sigh*

It's a beautiful spring day. Flowers blooming warm breeze breezing, and I'm here for a long day at the office.

But at least with everyone else out of the office I can bring in all my rowdy friends to keep me company. Roger, Roger & Pete, Jeff, Elton, KT, Natalie, and Eddi Let's get this party started.

Well begun is half done.

This gives the OCD in me the screaming fits... And the slides would still be in disarray.

I've already started the sorting. It's not taking as long as I thought.
