I just ate a ribeye steak and a caesar salad while watching "Lost" on the interwebs.

Iced tea.

I was eating dinner until Pirate Tech started talking about the wonderful world of pirate surgery.

My 9th-grade daughter has Baby Think It Over for the weekend. It's a robotic baby that you have to take care of like a real baby. It's required for a required course. The idea is that if kids know how much work a baby is, they won't make a baby.

Let me tell you, this thing is waaay more trouble than a real baby, unless that real baby has the colic.

Tonight, I'm babysitting the cranky little robot for my daughter while she goes to the high school play.

I had a really really really excellent run at oral argument today. Really really excellent. It earned a "hot diggity damn!" from the nice judge and a vigorous head-nodding assent from the mean judge. And in two weeks, this whole experience will be over.

I believe this is the strategy robots will use to ultimately take over the world

I swear, one of these days I will ditch the usual power point update and instead give our status report in the form of an interpretive dance.

If you do. please film it and put it on YouTube for me.

Those things are much better than the egg I had. When we moved down here everyone had flour sacks. Is hers the "chosen" one for collic? What a pain, but it beats becoming a grandmother prematurely.
