I had an intense day of finalizing a huge bunch of paperwork, followed by the "VISIT FROM THE TAX LADY" aka my accountant. I'm glad that's over. Well, almost- I'm still waiting for a straggling 1099.......

Man am I glad we chose Fantasyland side today.

An impromptu trip to the park with MBC and MaChickenXing (right, he has a screenname...and I have I mentioned that I love living 5 minutes from the structure) had us in line for Matterhorn a few minutes before fireworks. I lobbied for Fantasyland side and we weren't disappointed. Spectacular views of fuegos artificales around every corner, and then the capper, an up close view of Tinkerbell as she launched from the mountain. And from quite the interesting angle...never thought I'd see Tink Taco again.

Last night in Hawaii. We ate at "Jackie's Kitchen", which is Jackie Chan's restaurant. Apparently there are three of them, and this is the only one in the US. I will share a full review later, but for now: "meh".

Flying home tomorrow. Can't wait for the chihuahua kisses.

It is 100% work-stress related. It's not a problem going to sleep (though I do often prevent cancer right before sleepy time ;) ). It's waking up (earlier than I want to) to thoughts of all of the Shiite at the office.

This too shall pass.
