Aw, I wish Kevy was here. And if he was he'd say "Not hung over - Just hung."

Thank you...

I'm fortunate in that Lani doesn't care much either. Some years we may do something but most we don't.

Besides, other than the buying of chocolates (which we shouldn't eat) and the buying of flowers (which the cat would), we do most of the other stereotypical Valentine's Day activities (an evening together, nice dinner out, a weekend trip, etc.) all the time anyway. Doing them again just because Hallmark wants us to is reason enough to pointedly not do them.

So she played WoW all evening and I watched five episodes of Arrested Development, Season 2.

But since I do pretty much ignore all of the other Catholic holidays that have bled into the general culture (Mardis Gras, Christmas, Arbor Day, Cinco de Mayo) it seems consistent to do the same with Valentine's Day.

Valentine's Day is 3 days after the anniversary of our first date so it used to be a bigish deal to us. Since we got married and acquired a real anniversary, it's faded, but we still like to mark it, even if it's nothing more than buying each other new cards with cute puppies on them to replace the ones hanging on the fridge from last year. This year we also took the time to cook a nice meal together. Not that us cooking together is particularly out of the ordinary, but we chose more labor-intensive dishes than we otherwise might have on a Wednesday.

I can no longer post from work. I accedently discovered porn on a co-worker's computer yesterday so I am being verrrrry careful about not accessing the internet from work since it is against the rules. If it was that easy for me to find that means it is that easy for the owners to find. I don't want to be accused of doing anything wrong, so I won't.

2 weeks ago I spotted a warehouse worker taking stuff over the back fence. I am really getting tired of people.
