I always pictured me as Adam, and € as Jamie in the beret.

True that.
I always picture me on a date with Tory.

See the thing is, I do just about all the cooking in our kitchen. So it'll be a surprise for her, but nothing to get worked up over.

Which Mythbuster do I get to be? I enjoy blowing things up, and I've got a bit of experience picking locks and crashing vehicles.

I'm the one going around behind them saying "that was cool TV but you know the experiment isn't particularly valid in terms of establishing what you say it is establishing, right?" For some reason that one doesn't get on TV much.

You get your due in the "revisit" episodes. CP can attest, I do a lot of yelling at them for their methods.

I don't think I've ever happened upon a "revisit" episode.

Actually, the thing that tends to annoy me more (I understand most of the shortcuts they have to take with a TV show) is when they spend an hour doing a lot of work to prove whether something can happen in reality when there already exists plenty of documentary evidence of that something happening in reality (such as a car driving up into a truck trailer but not shooting out the front).

I like the exploding cement truck episode because they blew up a cement truck.

I understand why they do those. There are a depressing number of people that just don't accept it until they see it, plus it's just cool to do. But yeah, I wish they'd at least do a better job of framing it as, "We know this works, we just want to do it because it's cool and to shut some people up." Rather than pretending that they don't know what the outcome will be.

I'm glad they've dialed back the explosion-porn aspect of the show this season. Not that I don't enjoy a good boom, but when they were ending every episode with, "Okay, now that we've tested the myth, let's stuff the rig with some arbitrarily huge amount of explosives and see what happens" the explosions rather lost their novelty.

Then it's all good.
