I just spent a week alone (Lani got back from Japan today). On the one hand I was able to clean house and be able to make executive decisions that wouldn't otherwise get made.

On the other, I slept poorly.

That is exactly what I thought!!! Such expression.

Well. I just returned home from 4th & B downtown S.D. where the Hubster and myself saw....

Cheap Trick! All four original members, too.

Okay. Um. I have their albums, GD, and I surely felt old as their last show I saw was New Years Eve '81. {meaning it turned '81....}

They were great. All of them. And, no crowd surfing or moshing so we were able to stand up front without being kicked in the head or smashed against the railing. Two things I appreciate.

Sorry you will be alone. I would clean. But, since you have HD, well, I would probably watch t.v.

Do they have Tae Bo on HD? Or, um, FUSE?

4 inches of Hail on my car last night!

Nick and I drove to Tulare lesterday. We came home with 2 girls. They have both started to adjust very nicely to their new home.

Cool Mousy - new kitties!

One of the biggest reasons I am bummed about Susan leaving (besides the reason WHY she is going) is that we have not been able to spend much time together lately. I've been working some insane hours since the first of the year and things were just beginning to slow down (to 50-55 hours a week). The first (mostly) full weekend I had off was last weekend and she was gone all day Saturday and Sunday working. We had the RAC with us for 2-3 weeks and that puts a crimp in alone time. I know she has a few quilt shows coming up that she has to work (weekends) and I was looking forward to having this one weekend to spend with her.

OK, enough of my whining.

LOL Only kitties around here are the "wild" strays that are outside. I can't even imagine Pooh's response if he saw a cat in the house. The rats don't phase him, he just sits at the back door and watches. Cats, however, would be a different story.

Ooooo.... We're about to hit page 666!

I get this. I know my last post was that we went to a concert together but, we both had to rush home from work, him picking up pizza and me the Boy. We slammed down a Monster and hit the road. When we got there, no lallygagging around as it started to rain so we had to head straight to the venue. No talking, of course, inside. After, home and sleep.

He has been working long hours as you speak of and it will only get worse as his 'left arm' is resigning.

I was so excited just a few minutes ago when he called and said he missed me and had a brainstorm...I thought 'My birthday is coming up, he is going to mention going someplace and I am so up for that. Don't bitch about money or the kids just go....'

It was about work. :(

My whine for the day to join yours.

666 eh?

MW - You saw Cheap Trick!!!! I spend about 3 NYE with them in the late 70's early 80's at the Lond Beach Arena. I still love them.

New rodents!! Pictures.

BTD - How's Tigger doing?

Kevy, you could come up to LA with us on Saturday for the swanking. I can't promise we won't have food with eyes, though.
