Until today, I was anti-cat tree, I still am, nonetheless, I caved in a bought this ugly thing. Tango, however, is going to absolutely love it.

I will learn to live with it.

MW - You saw Cheap Trick!!!! I spend about 3 NYE with them in the late 70's early 80's at the Lond Beach Arena. I still love them.

Yes! Wasn't it a kick to see them then? They are still a great rock band and I was glad the crowd was mellow. That new years eve show was the last one I saw but we'd gone to 2 or 3 prior.

I was a little bummed Robin Zanders didn't come out in a white suit with a skinny black tie. I guess that would be too much to ask.

Snowflake, your kitty will love that! We have a tiny little gym for our kitty and thank God cause she was tearing up the walls!

I'm going with no news is good news. I am going to try and go to my parents house this weekend and Erica will be coming by on Monday.

I am petrified that he is "waiting" for us to be there. :(

Hmm, now I'm wondering if there's such a thing as swanky cat trees.

Well, as far as cat trees go, I think this would qualify as swanky, it does have, after all, a hammock, among other things. I'd love a hammock for me!

Short of building a cat track around the perimeter of the rooms of the apartment for her to climb and run around, this is the lesser of the evils.

Wow. I've just received my first ever little work recognition award thingy. I've been taken to lunch, I've received gifts (e.g., an iPod), but this is the first time I've gotten one of those little corporate recognition plaque/statue-ish things.

And you know what...I think that's pretty cool. I'm mean, sure it's trite, it's plastic, it's not particularly interesting to look at, and it's inconsistently manufactured (for example, some of the ones given out have rubber feet, others don't). But damnit, I earned it.

Congratulations! The most I've ever gotten were some candles and a waterglobe (not from the same people) at Christmastime, not really a huge ego boost, but the waterglobe was at least Mickey. No plaques for the self-employed.

"Plaque" is a generous term for a printed sticker and a part from one of our products (probably from the reject pile) encased in lucite.
