Sounds so decadent! It's usually late morning when I make it to the shower anyway...I might just have to change that to LONG dreamy bath, with wine, candles...of course this might not be a good idea for afternoon baths...

I'm down with the club.

We could give pointers and work out problems such as:

1.) Devise new ways to ignore telephones.
2.) Book recommendations for tub-reading
3.) Best bath salts.
4.) How to deal with residue from bath oils.
5.) Music to soak by.
6.) Loofah vs. Scrub Bud
7.) Cucumbers vs. Tea Bags

Oh, the things we could discuss at our meetings....

You forgot one thing:

Bathtub Books

No, you didn't- I just missed that in your post! Okay, I get to handle the Bathtub Books discussion. Dibs, whatever- that's my area of expertise. Expect the unexpected......

I am reading this one book -- And really it's the one that made me think I should take a bath, that has a plastic cover & binding.

No, no , no... A good bathtub book is a paperback, swollen from repeated accidental immersions. One that you are a bit sorry for getting wet, but not too sorry, because you know you will be able to find it again, or you have something even better lined up....

blueerica 02-17-2005 12:12 AM

Ahhh -- Yes, I have a few of those, as well...

I also like to read magazines in the tub...

Magazines to read by....

I also like bathroom remodeling magazines while I'm in the tub... Hmmm..

blueerica 02-17-2005 12:12 AM

Oh, and I mean not that I put a plastic cover on the book, but that the book came that way... it's meant to be beat to sh1t.

I have some weird bathtub books... I'll have to go and take stock- my latest was Catch 22, by Joseph Heller. The one before that was Anna Karenin, by Leo Tolstsoy.

I'm just sitting here waiting for my bf to get home. He went out with the "boys" some where. We were suppose to go to the mall, but no he gets a phone call and he's out the door!

Ok...we'll need a cool, swanky name...matching towels, we'll all join the Loofah of The Month club, WB will organize the book of the month...We'll have to figure out a way to surf LoT while bathing....

My favorite bathtime book is Divine Secrets of The Ya Ya Sisterhood...It's soooo beat up...paperback of course...the back has literally given up and the pages are beginning to fall out one by one....but I love it!
