Happy New Year Everyone! Hope the big Bollywood party was fab and that everyone both near and far had a spectacular New Year. I'm sure I will eventually get around to reading all 1113 posts since I last visited (most, I'm sure, in this thread...wait when did the new Sooooo.....thread get the same name as the old Sooooo.....thread? Or am I experiencing deja vu?) but that will have to wait.

I'm pissed about the Middle East (and at the IRS and AT&T), sorry about the flooding, thrilled to be saying goodbye to Shrub, freaked out by how much Olivia has grown (8yo and 4'7"!), impressed by Blagojevich's cajones at "chicken" (although with little else) and perplexed about the success of Marley and Me.

I am also sick and tired of being sick and tired (but that belongs in the vent thread).

Oh, and apparently I may be a slightly racist but I strongly favor homosexuals. (Yep, you too can participate in these online Harvard studies and many others.)

Here's hoping 2009 is better than 2008...so far it's not worse. That's something. :p

eta: Oh, and if you didn't get a Christmas card, it's not that I don't like you it's that I was to lazy to get off my ass and actually address/mail them this year...so, Merry Christmas and/or Happy Hanukkah too....
