I think the flap Snow's referring to is the one where the author of "A Million Little Pieces" got nailed for fabricating much of his so-called memoir. Ms. Oprah seemed more pissed about beng fooled by Frey than the fact that millions of her fans might have gotten ripped off.

Yeah, but this is far more hocus pocus than that. This isn't, "Thinking positively will get you to do positive things." This is, "Think of what you want, and only what you want and it will happen, regardless of anything in the real world." To the point that the book actually says that if you want to be thin, you should avoid even looking at fat people as that causes "fat thoughts" which will cause you to be fat.
